To cultivate, recognize, and steward planned gifts that secure the long-term sustainability of CRHS and advance its mission to preserve and share local history.

Your generosity will support:

– The care and restoration of historic buildings
– The preservation and digitization of archives
– Educational programming for all ages
– Exhibits and events that bring our stories to life

Eligibility for Membership

You are invited to join the Dyer Circle if you have made a commitment to CRHS through one of the following:

– A bequest in a will or living trust
– Naming CRHS as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or donor-advised fund
– Establishing a charitable remainder trust, charitable lead trust, or charitable gift annuity that benefits CRHS
– Making a life estate gift of a personal residence or property

Circle Member Benefits

While the greatest benefit is the knowledge that your gift will have a lasting impact, Dyer Circle members will also enjoy:

– Recognition in CRHS publications and the Annual Report
– Invitations to exclusive Dyer Circle events and behind-the-scenes programs
– A commemorative pin or token recognizing your legacy

“I give and bequeath to the Camden-Rockport Historical Society, a nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of Maine, located at 7 Commercial Street, Rockport, the sum of $__________ (or ____% of my estate) to be used for its general purposes (or a designated purpose, if any).”
